Six techniques, all worked by hand

Every motif you see across our blouses, gowns and sarees is built using one or more of these traditional techniques — no machine embroidery, ever.

Aari Embroidery

Fine chain-stitch worked with a hooked needle, built up into dense floral and paisley patterns. This is our specialty for blouse yokes and dupatta borders.

Zardozi Work

Heavy metallic thread, sequins and dabka worked into rich, raised motifs — the gold-on-velvet detailing used across our bridal blouse pieces.

Hand Thread Embroidery

Multicolour silk and cotton thread worked into florals, peacocks and paisleys, entirely by hand — no two pieces embroidered exactly alike.

Pearl & Bead Work

Pearls, beads and tassels stitched on as a finishing layer for extra dimension — often used on blouse edges, tie-backs and dupatta corners.

Sequin & Mirror Work

Hand-placed sequins and small mirrors that catch the light, layered over embroidery for bridal and festive wear.

Cutwork & Applique

Layered fabric cut into motifs and appliqued on, used for the fine lattice detailing on necklines and sleeves.

Bridal Blouse Stitching

Fully lined and padded, with hooks, dori and embroidery finishing worked to your blouse design and saree.

10–15Days

Custom Gowns & Lehengas

Cut and fitted to your silhouette, with embroidery, lining and finishing done entirely in-house.

12–18Days

Saree Fall & Pico

Fall stitching and pico edging for everyday and silk sarees, keeping the drape clean and the border secure.

1–2Days

Churidar & Kurti Sets

Full stitching for churidar sets and kurtis, made to measure for everyday wear or festive occasions.

5–7Days

Alterations & Resizing

Refitting an existing blouse, gown or saree fall — useful after weight changes or for hand-me-down pieces.

A look at our recent work

Every piece below was measured, embroidered and finished in-house.

Purple velvet bridal blouse with gold zardozi embroidery and embroidered peacock and bridal couple motif — **Bridal blouse — purple velvet & gold zardozi**Hand-embroidered over several days with real zari thread and sequins. Each peacock motif is built stitch by stitch before the blouse is cut and stitched to size.

Grey kurti with hand-embroidered floral neckline and sleeves — **Custom kurti — floral hand embroidery**Flowers are worked freehand onto the yoke using French-knot and stem stitch. The pattern is first sketched in chalk, then embroidered before final stitching.

Maroon and gold Aari embroidery with peacock motifs, work in progress — **Aari work in progress**Worked on a wooden frame using a hooked Aari needle for continuous chain stitch. Each motif takes hours of looping before beads and sequins are added.

Red and gold silk saree with woven zari border, hanging on display — **Silk saree — red & gold**Woven on a traditional handloom with a genuine zari border. Every saree is checked for weave consistency before it leaves the shop floor.

Red fabric with heavy zardozi and multicolour thread embroidery, floral and paisley motifs — **Zardozi & thread detailing**Metallic zardozi threads are couched by hand onto marked fabric. Colour and bead placement are finalised before the piece moves to stitching.

Red bridal blouse with turquoise and gold beadwork and floral embroidery — **Wedding blouse — hand embroidered**Floral motifs are outlined first, then filled in with bead and gold thread work. The blouse is tailored to fit only after embroidery is complete.

**Purple silk blouse — hand embroidered floral motif**Cut from raw silk and embroidered with layered leaf and floral motifs in gold thread. Edge piping and finishing are added last.

**Royal blue bridal blouse with zardozi detailing**Zardozi borders are hand-stitched along the neckline and sleeves first. Stone and bead work is added once the base embroidery is set.

**Purple silk sleeves — matching floral embroidery**Both sleeves are embroidered together so the motifs match exactly. The same design is repeated stitch-for-stitch on each side.

**Blue silk blouse — close-up of beadwork**Beads are strung and stitched on one at a time to build up the raised pattern. It is slow work, but it is what gives the design its texture.

**Red bridal blouse — gold thread embroidery**Gold thread motifs are laid and couched by hand before the blouse is assembled. Each panel is embroidered flat, then cut and stitched.

**Pink silk blouse — intricate floral zari work**Zari thread is worked into dense floral clusters across the yoke. The blouse is pressed and finished only once all embroidery is done.

**Bridal saree drape — red & green silk**A traditional silk saree draped and pinned for the bride’s big day. Pallu and blouse are colour-matched before the final fitting.

**Bridal hairstyle finished with fresh flowers**Styled on-site with fresh jasmine and a custom hair accessory. Finished to complement the blouse and saree worn on the day.

**Bridal blouse, fully customised & stitched in-house**Designed, embroidered and stitched entirely in-house at our Peelamedu studio. Every measurement is taken and fitted before final stitching.

**Hot pink crop top & jacket set**The embellished bustier and flowing jacket are cut and beaded by hand. Designed as a contrast set for festive, statement-making occasions.

**Multicolour floral embroidery on grey silk**Tiny bullion-knot flowers are stitched one at a time in mixed colours. The scattered floral layout is planned before a single stitch is made.

**Red bridal blouse — peacock zardozi back design**Peacock motifs are outlined in fine zari and filled with hand-stitched beads and stones. The dori-style tassels down the back are threaded and knotted one by one.

**Olive green silk blouse — floral bead embroidery**Scattered floral sprigs are hand-stitched using stone and bead work across the sleeves and yoke. The border along each cuff is finished last for a neat edge.

**Turquoise silk blouse — purple zari saree set**The diamond-cut neckline is framed with dense floral beadwork before the blouse is stitched. The saree’s zari border is woven to match the blouse thread for colour.

**Turquoise blouse set — close-up of neckline work**Each floral cluster around the neckline is built stone by stone on a marked outline. Sleeves are embroidered separately, then matched and stitched to the blouse.

**Turquoise & purple saree set — full view**Blouse and saree are paired and finished together as a set. Every embroidered panel is pressed and checked before the outfit leaves our studio.
